Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff – 7 Years

Kamala Harris has become the first female Vice President of the United States of Indian American origin. Prior to this current VC, Kamala has served as US senator and attorney general of California. On the personal front, Kamala Harris married Doug Emhoff, a lawyer, in 2014. In 2013, this power couple met each other on a blind date set up by Chrisette Hudlin, Harris’ best friend.

Emhoff exclaims it was love at first meet. After the first date, they met several times and tied the knot a year later. Emhoff often accompanies his powerful lady to every political event and tweets a lot about how much he adores her.
