Sir Michael Parkinson is an English broadcaster, author, and journalist. The veteran television presenter has done several talk shows in his career. Married to Mary Heneghan for sixty-two years, and she plays a significant role in his life. The adorable couple met on top of a double-decker bus in Doncaster.

The two have three sons and have stuck it out through many difficult times. At one point, Parkinson suffered from a spinal injury and was unable to walk. His wife was a constant support throughout his recovery. The lovely couple is grandparents to a whopping eight grandchildren. Parkinson and his wife currently reside in Bray, Berkshire.
