Can you imagine going to the miniature golf course on the first date? Yes, George W Bush and Laura in 1977 went to one in Texas, and things went even better than imagined. On the 40th anniversary, Laura said, it was indeed love at first sight. It was Bush’s friends who first brought Laura and Bush together.

After dating for merely three gaps, Bush proposed to Laura one fine day, and she gladly said I do. On Nov 5, 1977, both married settled at their Texas abode. The reason behind their 44 years of a successful marriage is that they enjoy each other’s company and share common values.
