On The Road
It goes without saying that the Woodstock Music Festival exploded with people. The attendees came from all corners of America. The organizers of the festival were in no way prepared to handle a crowd of this magnitude. At one point, they were forced to admit everyone when people started climbing the fences to see their favorite artists perform. One can only try to imagine the surprise on the faces of onlookers when thousands of hippies flooded the place. The roads were jam packed with cars, and it seemed everybody had the same destination, which was Woodstock. This clearly shows how important the festival was for some people.
