She was Miss Brooklyn also, is less known about Bern Nadette Stanis who is famous as Thelma from Good Times. Stanis is also an excellent dancer, apart from being an actress. She has authored four books: Situations 101: Relationships, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly; For Men Only; Situations 101: Finances; and The Last Night.
Stanis started with Miss Black America pageants and went on to become Miss Brooklyn. Additionally, she is also an advocate of Alzheimer’s. At 68, she might have become a grandmother, but she doesn’t look like one. She still has that gracefulness and charm in her aura, which makes her an evergreen beauty.
