Media Paints Woodstock In Bad Light

One of the reasons why Woodstock became so popular is because it got wide media coverage. Different media channels had made their way to the festival to report what was happening there. However, a lot of people accused them of painting the wrong image of the event. The media claimed that a lot of bad stuff was happening at Woodstock, which made a lot of people uneasy and worried back home. Nonetheless, the people who attended the event said that the whole thing went peacefully, and there was no incident that could cause potential discord. The two contradictory statements did create confusion.
