A Taste Of Love And Free Thought
Right at the beginning of the 1970s, San Francisco was teeming with hippies. Some were free-spirited, while others adopted a wild nature to make their identity known. In addition to this, it should also be noted that San Francisco was very lenient when it came to keeping up with those who rebelled against social structures and promoted the idea of multiculturalism. A lot of black and white photos came forward from that era. These pictures documented the daily life of hippies who were mostly deemed as social outcasts. This community favored individualism and the idea of a free society that did not repress marginalized groups.
